APPLICATION FOR NEW MEMBERS

The below signed individual hereby applies for annual membership into the Dakota Benchrest Shooters, Inc. organization, which includes range privileges. The official “911” physical address of the DBRS, Inc. range property is: 46433 – 269th Street, Tea, SD 57064.

All applications must have a club member sponsor listed on their application. This means that the member knows the applicant, has witnessed their safety at the range while shooting, has explained the rules and knows they will be removed from the club if the applicant breaks any of the rules, ever. Sponsor is required to sign off on this form.

Membership includes a member’s spouse, dependent/minor children, grandchildren and any family member currently serving on active duty with the armed forces of the United States. Membership will be from March 1, through February 29, of the following year.

Notice for dues will be sent to current members during late January, and must be paid in full on or before March 1, as the gate codes will be deactivated on March 10. Memberships not renewed by March 10, will be voided and the waiting list will be opened to those non-members who desire membership. Late payment of renewal or replacement cards will be assessed a $25 fee. Membership is currently capped at 260 paid members.

Annual dues are $125 per year. First time members pay a $25 joining fee plus annual dues ($125). For new applicants on membership waiting lists, no funds are needed with application. You will be notified when a vacancy occurs, then asked for payment to activate membership. Guest fee is $10 per shooting guest, per day. Members are totally responsible for the actions of their guest(s) on DBRS, Inc. range property.

Any one of the below listed activities could result in termination of membership:

  • Unsafe acts on the DBRS, Inc. range property.
  • Providing the gate combination or membership card to a non-member.
  • Allowing a non-registered guest access to the range without paying a fee.
  • Alcohol consumption on premises.
  • Intentional damage to any part of the range, posts, signs, structures or equipment.
  • Any other action deemed inappropriate by the Board of Directors.
